The Remodeling Outlet is pleased to offer a limited warranty on all cabinets imported, assembled, and sold within the United States. This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from The Remodeling Outlet and installed in residential homes within the U.S. It does not apply to products shipped or used outside the United States. All terms, limitations, exclusions, and procedures listed below apply.

1. Warranty Coverage

The Remodeling Outlet warrants to the original purchasing consumer that our cabinets will be free from unnatural defects in material and workmanship under normal residential use for a period of 1 year from the original purchase date, or for as long as the original consumer owns the home—whichever is shorter.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

2. Warranty Exclusions

This limited warranty replaces all previous warranties issued by The Remodeling Outlet and is the sole remedy for defects in material or workmanship. There are no implied warranties extending beyond the terms listed here.

The Remodeling Outlet is not responsible for:

  • Indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages
  • Costs associated with installation, re-installation, labor, or project delays
  • Any damage or loss not directly caused by a manufacturing defect

State laws may vary, and some limitations may not apply to every customer.

3. Warranty Limitations

This warranty becomes void if:

  • Cabinets, drawers, slides, or hinges are modified, altered, cut, or adjusted beyond their original form
  • Products are improperly installed, handled, or damaged before or during installation
  • Products are used in non-residential or commercial environments
  • Products are stored or installed in locations without year-round climate control
  • Damage results from transportation, storage, improper maintenance, excessive moisture, humidity, high heat, or extreme cold
  • Damage results from misuse, neglect, accidents, or abuse
  • Countertops, appliances, plumbing, or other products not supplied by The Remodeling Outlet cause damage

This warranty only covers cabinet parts and materials supplied directly by The Remodeling Outlet. It does not include any non-cabinet components or accessories added by the customer or installer.

4. Important Product Characteristics (Disclaimers)

Natural Wood & Color Variations

Wood is a natural material. Variations in:

  • Color
  • Grain pattern
  • Texture
  • Mineral streaks
  • Knots
  • Aging and UV exposure

…are normal and not considered defects. Replacement pieces may not exactly match original cabinets due to natural aging and light exposure.

Wood Movement

Wood naturally expands and contracts with seasonal humidity changes. This may cause:

  • Center panels to shift
  • Small gaps at joints
  • Minor door movement or warp

Doors with warping up to 1/4” are considered within industry standards and not defective.

Painted Finishes

Paint may show:

  • Hairline stress cracks at joints
  • Minor surface shifts due to wood movement

These characteristics are normal and not covered by warranty.

Glazed Finishes

Glazing is a hand-applied artistic process. Variations from door to door or part to part are normal and not considered defects.

5. Warranty Performance

If a covered defect is reported within the warranty period, The Remodeling Outlet will, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair the defective item, or
  • Replace the defective part with a similar item currently available

The Remodeling Outlet is not responsible for:

  • Removing the defective item
  • Re-installation or labor costs
  • Freight, delivery, or transportation of defective or replacement items
  • Damage occurring during return shipping

If the exact product or finish is discontinued, we may replace it with the closest available match. Exact finish or grain matching is not guaranteed due to natural aging.

We may require photos or additional documentation, and we may request an in-person inspection at our discretion.

6. How to Submit a Warranty Claim

All warranty claims must be submitted through our official website.

To file a claim, you must provide:

  • Original proof of purchase
  • Photos of the defect
  • A detailed description of the issue
  • Installation date and environment details

Once submitted, our Warranty Department will review your claim and respond with next steps.

7. Do Not Return Products Without Authorization

Products may not be returned until you receive written authorization from our Customer Service or Warranty Department.

The Remodeling Outlet is not responsible for:

  • Items returned without approval
  • Items damaged during unauthorized return shipping
  • Freight charges incurred without prior authorization
